With v1.7.1, AGYNAMIX Invoicer focuses on an area where small ambiguities can quickly have significant consequences: the financial correctness of invoices, corrections, cancellations, and payment reminders. Published documents rely more consistently on frozen financial data, payments remain more clearly separated from internal offsets, and full cancellations account for the complete invoice family.
The release also adds customer rebates as document-level allowances, SMB storage for centrally managed archives, and more robust Client/Host, email, and e-invoicing workflows.
Highlights
More reliable financial workflows and cancellations
- Invoices, corrections, payments, Skonto discounts, and offsets now use more clearly defined frozen financial data.
- This keeps published documents immutable and prevents amounts from being applied twice in subsequent workflows.
- A full cancellation closes the complete invoice family in a controlled way and accounts for earlier corrections.
- Genuine refund entitlements are distinguished from internal offsets so both remain traceable.
- The dashboard now describes cash receipts more precisely and reports them by value date instead of presenting them as revenue.
Transparent payment reminder fees and payment allocation
- Payment reminder fees are recorded in a dedicated section and carried forward transparently to later reminder levels.
- When a payment is recorded, Invoicer shows how the amount is allocated between the invoice receivable and open reminder fees.
- For German documents, a payer’s differing allocation instruction can be taken into account.
- Ambiguous partial payments for Austrian and Swiss documents are not silently assigned to a receivable.
- Tax treatment, reversal, and closure of a reminder family are checked more consistently.
AGYNAMIX Invoicer still does not recommend a standard reminder-fee amount or determine whether a particular fee is legally collectible. The new logic makes recording and processing fees more transparent, but it does not replace legal review.
SMB archives for centrally managed installations
- The archive can now use an SMB network path via a UNC address, including subfolders.
- When credentials are required, they can be stored in the protected password store.
- The setup wizard tests the exact connection before saving the configuration.
- Existing archives can be migrated between local storage, S3, and SMB; conflicts and unsafe paths are rejected.
- For terminal servers and managed installations, administrators can place license metadata and the recovery-key file on stable machine-level paths in addition to configuring the application data directory.
Customer rebates as document-level allowances
- Customer rebates are now available in the UI and applied as a separate net allowance across the affected VAT buckets.
- Individual line-item prices remain unchanged; the rebate is instead presented traceably at document level.
- Publishing freezes the rebate together with the other financial data.
- Preview, PDF, e-invoice, correction, and cancellation workflows therefore use the same calculation basis.
Safer Client/Host operation and faster synchronization
- Client and Host verify that their application versions are compatible before protected operations, onboarding, or synchronization proceed.
- Host changes are processed more immediately through synchronization events.
- Document states, payments, corrections, and configuration are mirrored more reliably into the local Client view.
- Periodic synchronization remains in place as an additional fallback.
Additional improvements
Email delivery and audit trail
- Email events are linked to their related sales documents, which can be opened directly from the audit trail.
- The Host does not send an email when required archived attachments are missing.
- If audit persistence fails after successful SMTP acceptance, the message is treated as delivered with a warning. This avoids prompting an unsafe resend.
- Creating an EML file is recorded as preparation for an external email application rather than confirmed delivery.
E-invoicing, PDF, and document details
- E-invoice checks cover invoice corrections, payment data, VAT categories, and profile combinations more precisely.
- Contradictory XML output is blocked instead of allowing a structurally implausible e-invoice to proceed.
- PDF previews present customer rebates, VAT values, and payment reminder fees more clearly.
- Invoice corrections also show the original invoice date.
Everyday usability
- Images in the image library can be opened by double-clicking or using the preview icon, with a larger view that adapts to the image resolution.
- Reminder levels, Skonto validation, address fields, and navigation paths are easier to understand.
- When a longer Skonto period requires it, the invoice due date is extended automatically.
Overall, v1.7.1 strengthens the interaction between several financially sensitive workflows rather than changing only one isolated process. Invoice families, payments, fees, rebates, and PDF or e-invoice output now rely more consistently on the same traceable data.
